High-protein KFC Zinger Sliders with crispy chicken and spicy flavor

Spaghetti Carbonara

A traditional Italian pasta dish made with eggs, cheese, pancetta, and pepper. Simple yet delicious!

Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 400 grams Spaghetti Use high-quality pasta for the best texture.

Sauce

  • 150 grams Pancetta, diced Guanciale can be used for a more authentic flavor.
  • 3 large Eggs Use fresh eggs for the best results.
  • 100 grams Parmesan cheese, grated Pecorino Romano can also be used.
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper, freshly cracked Adjust to taste.

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.

Preparing the Sauce

  • In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and Parmesan cheese.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the pancetta until crispy.

Combining

  • Once the pasta is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
  • Add spaghetti to the skillet with pancetta. Remove from heat and quickly mix in the egg mixture, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a creamy sauce.
  • Stir in cracked black pepper to taste.

Notes

Serve immediately for the best texture. Garnish with additional cheese and pepper if desired. This dish is best enjoyed fresh.
